BEWARE OF SCAMMERS

There is a known scam going on at the moment where Guys with good British accents will call you and tell you that they are from Ledger Recovery. They will say they have a PDF copy of your receipt from where you bought your ledger device. They will say somebody has requested a recovery of the device, and they will become bloody bolshy when you tell them you do not believe them.

DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!

From the official ledger site. :

Hi there! This is a scam—please do not engage with them.

- Ledger will never call you, DM you, or ask you to visit a website to “verify” your device or enter your 24-word recovery phrase. Any unsolicited phone call claiming to be Ledger (or “Ledger Recovery”) is a scam.

- Never share or type your 24-word recovery phrase anywhere except on your Ledger device during setup/restore. Never connect your device to untrusted sites.

What to do now:

1) Hang up/block the caller and ignore any emails/SMS/links they send.

2) Do not install anything or connect your device to the site they mention.

3) If you ever entered your 24 words anywhere or clicked suspicious links, immediately move your funds to fresh accounts secured by a new recovery phrase. We can guide you through this.
